1. Purpose of Agreement
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions regarding the use of aftermarket vinyl wrap materials provided or requested by the customer for installation by Car Guys Chicago INC.
2. Recommended Materials
Car Guys Chicago INC strongly recommends the use of high-quality, industry-standard vinyl wrap brands such as Avery Dennison and 3M. These manufacturers offer factory warranties ranging from 5 to 7 years, ensuring durability, adhesion quality, and overall performance.
Car Guys Chicago INC provides a matching installation warranty when using Avery Dennison or 3M materials.
3. Aftermarket Wrap Materials Disclaimer
If the customer chooses to supply or insists on using vinyl wrap materials other than Avery Dennison or 3M, including but not limited to:
– Vinyl Frog
– Cheetah Wrap
– TinyBot Vinyl
– TeckWrap
– Aura Vinyl
– Any other non-approved or aftermarket brand
Car Guys Chicago INC explicitly disclaims all responsibility and liability for the performance, durability, and condition of such materials.
4. No Warranty on Aftermarket Wraps
Car Guys Chicago INC does not provide any warranty, guarantee, or assurance for aftermarket vinyl wraps.
This includes, but is not limited to:
– Peeling
– Bubbling
– Tearing or ripping
– Adhesion failure
– Premature wear or fading
– Potential damage to vehicle paint or body
5. Customer Acknowledgment of Risk
By choosing to proceed with aftermarket vinyl materials against the recommendation of Car Guys Chicago INC, the customer acknowledges and accepts that:
– These materials may be of lower quality
– They may have weak adhesive properties
– They may cause installation challenges or long-term vehicle damage
The customer assumes full responsibility for any and all outcomes related to the use of such materials.
6. Completion of Service & Transfer of Responsibility
Once the vehicle wrap installation is completed:
– The customer has inspected the vehicle
– Payment has been made in full
– The vehicle has been picked up
All responsibility for the wrap immediately transfers to the customer.
Car Guys Chicago INC is not liable for any issues that arise after the vehicle leaves the premises.
7. No Refund Policy
Vehicle wrapping is a labor-intensive service requiring approximately 1–2 weeks per vehicle.
Therefore:
– All sales are final
– No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, especially in cases involving aftermarket wrap materials
8. Binding Agreement
By booking an appointment with us and proceeding with installation using aftermarket vinyl wrap materials, the customer confirms that:
– They have been advised against using such materials in the following agreement on our website & one on one in person & on text or phone call.
– They fully understand the risks involved and still chooses to proceed at their own risk.
– They voluntarily accept all terms outlined in this agreement.
This agreement is legally binding upon confirmation of booking and/or commencement of services performed at Car Guys Chicago INC
